Master Scuba Diver is PADI’s highest recreational diver rating. This is where the best come to play because the possibilities are endless.

To become a Master Scuba Diver you must have, Log 50 dives and complete the following PADI courses.

Open Water,

Advanced Open Water,

Rescue Diver.

Five Speciality Diver courses.

Please note any one below the age of 15 years old will earn a Junior Master Scuba Diver certification.

Speciality diver certification must be Padi no other certifications qualify.

As you and your buddy gear up you talk about what search pattern to use, As you descend the anchor line you have a quick look at the bottom and then start your search. When you come up a few minuteslater with the missing piece of dive equipment you get one hell of akick knowing that you save the diver from missing the dive.

What will we be doing during this course.

After looking at the DVD and reading the manual so we fully understand the theory of Search & Recovery and all of the different search patterns that we can use and why the bottom topography makes a difference, and once we have found the missing item how do we bring it back to the surface.

Then over the next 4 dives we will put our new found knowledge into practise.

Course Prerequisites,

Any PADI Open Water diver, or  divers with a qualifying certification through another training organizations. Who is over 12 years old.

Under Spanish law all divers must have dive insurance (I can arrange this for you) In fact a copy of your insurance and divers certification card Must be on the dive boat.

Rescue diver is the ideal next course as it uses all that we have learned during the Navigator and  Search & recovery courses and a lot more Rewarding and fun best describe the Padi rescue diver although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence.

Dry suit It’s not the cold water that takes the fun out of diving it’s being cold that takes the fun out of diving.

This course is really the foundation for you to build all of your future diving on!  Regardless of how far up the ladder you decide to take your diving, as a hobby
diver or turning Professional you will still use the same skills that you learned in this course. As your diving instructor I still use the same skills that I learned on my 1^st dive many years ago on every dive that I do.

So what do you get with this course

First of all you get the Padi open water divers kit this contains
the Open water manual  the DVD and the dive tables’ for use not only
during this course but for years to come, and a log book to record
your dives in. Full use of all of the diving equipment.

You will also be covered by my diving instructors insurance for the
duration of the course.

What will we be doing during this course

First of all we will look at the dive theory using the manual and
video so that you understand why we have things like safety stops and
why we can only spend a limited amount of time at any depth. Then
it’s time for our first  confined DIVE this may be in a pool or in a
sheltered bay, depending on you and the weather! Here we start
learning the dive skills and having FUN, There is no time limit on
this. When YOU are happy and confident Then it’s time to move out
into the open sea!

Open water dives.

Using the theory that we have learned  and taking the skills from the confined water into the open sea and putting them into practice as we explore the wonderful underwater world. I feel that the only way to learn to dive is by
Diving this is why with me all  of our Open water dives last around
40 minuets, adding all of this together gives us the experience to
dive safely, on which we can build our future dives or by doing the
advanced open water course. 

             So who can take the Open Water course

Any swimmer  who is over 12 years old  and is confident in the water and reasonable fit.

Please note under 15 years
old will receive a Junior Open Water certification and haverestrictions on maximum depth.

As we glide  though the water watching the fish and marine life living as they should free in their natural habitat. See the wonderful shapes and colours of the rocks and plant life.

SO WHAT WILL WE BE DOING

First of all we will watch a short video showing how we will be diving. Then I will introduce
you to the equipment that we will be using during our dive. Once you have tried and seen how easy it is to breath from the regulator, we will then put on the wet suits and get aboard the boat and off to the dive site.

SO WHO CAN DO A DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING EXPERIENCE.

Anyone over 10 years old
who can swim and is confidante in the water and is reasonable fit.

WHAT CAN WE DO AFTERWARDS.  Apart from having a wonderful experience

course  which saves you money and time.

The best way to describe  Padi,s Scuba Diver is to call it the 1st part of the Open Water course.

This way if you are short of time on your holiday you can complete the Scuba Diver  course now and do the rest with in the next year and upgrade to an Open Water diver.

By completing the Scuba Diver course you will receive a Padicertification card but with limits like the maximum depth of 12 meters and you will not be able to hire equipment, You will be able to dive any where in the world but only with a dive professional i.e. Dive master or Instructor.

This is much more of a practical course as you participate more in the organization of all of the dives, taking into account the special considerations for each of the dives.
This builds on the Open Water course by increasing our knowledge and experience with you diving in different conditions.

So what do you get with this course
You will receive the PADI Adventures in diving manual and DVD.
Again my undivided attention during all of the five dives in this course.
And the most important Your PADI certification card enabling you to plan and dive anywhere in the world to a maximum depth of 30 meters.

What will we be doing during this course
Out of the 5 dives one will be a deep dive that means any where from 18 to a maximum depth of 30 meters. And we will also do an underwater Navigation dive.
Now that leaves 3 dives and one of the best things about this course is that you get to choose what those 3 dives will be! choose one dive from any 3 of the adventures in diving courses that you fancy (with in certain restriction) There is a large range to choose from, How about a Night, Photographer, Drift, Search & Recovery, Enriched air, to name just a few.
Yes we will use the manual and DVD looking at how to organize and plan the 5 dives, What special equipment will we need? And how do we use it.

Course Prerequisites,

Any  PADI Open Water diver, or  divers with a qualifying certification
through another training organizations. Who is over 12 years old.

certification and have restrictions on maximum depths.

Prepares you to manage realistic rescue situations, Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence, Many divers say that this is the best course they have ever taken.

Yes another PADI kit containing the manual and DVD. As you know by now they are a great help in understanding the theory as we go though the course work, but they are also a great reference if we have been out of diving for a while and need to refresh our skills.And of course another certification card to show that you are a committed safe and responsible diver who show care not only for yourself but for your fellow divers.

Padi,s Rescue divers course will build your confidence as a diver,and  gives you valuable experience in emergency management and more importantly Prevention of dive accidents.

What will we be doing during this course.

With the help of the manual and DVD we will look at different rescue scenarios from words of support,to helping someone with leg cramp, right though to finding a missing diver. We will look at what is the best position to help from the boat or entering the water

Be a Padi Advanced open water diver, Completed a EFR Primary and secondary care training within the last 2 years.

Emergency Oxygen Provider We have learned that the best treatment for almost any diving accident is giving 100% Oxygen as soon as possible but how? 

This is not just for divers non divers are actively encouraged to take part. This course gives you the confidence to step forward and respond to medical emergencies, Not just in the diving world but in your every day life with your family, friends, neighbours.

Due to most of the emergency services being cut back and ambulances taking longer to arrive you could make a real difference.

This course more than any other changed my whole out look on life, since taking my EFR course many years ago I am more willing to stop and offer help whether it has been a car accident or some one just tripping over, I now find my self moving forward ready to help not just looking on, and yes it makes me feel good that I have been able to offer help.

We will watch the video together as we go though different scenarios, learning scene assessment,and barrier use to protect ourselves. We will learn and practice CPR
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on Anne, You will also learn how to use an AED Automated External Defibrillator again using Anne (she is very forgiving) We will look at Serious bleeding, Shock and Spinal injury management.

Again with the help of the DVD we will look at when and how to use Oxygen what face masks to use and when. We will learn how to set up the equipment, and look at the benefits of giving Oxygen.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DOING THIS COURSE.

Safety Let’s face we all forget thing over time So why should diving be any different! The only difference is that with diving forgetting something important could affect our safety.

WHAT WILL WE BE DOING DURING THIS COURSE.

We will go over the dive theory and skills possibly by using the DVD for the course that you wish to review, if you haven’t dived for a while we would look at the Open water skills. But if your about to go off on holiday on a lived aboard dive boat may be you feel that you wish
to review Nitrox. With this course we can adept it to review any of the dive certifications
that you hold.
